Write
Your Fire

Create songs that uncover your truth.

Why it’s different

Craft, and what blocks it

Almost everyone who wants to write songs hits the same three walls: believing you must already be a great musician, staying in your head and never finishing, and having no clear process.

Write Your Fire works on the craft and on the blocks together, in order, through the whole cycle: write it, finish it, record it, share it. Then you repeat that cycle with every song after.

The method
  1. Light the Fire

Reconnect with your creativity and rebuild an inner rhythm that feels safe.

  2. Shape the Voice

Clarify your message, your tone and the structure of the song.

  3. Finish the Song

Complete it, refine it, and share your truth with confidence.

  4. Share Your Fire

Record, release or perform it, authentically.

Zero to Song

One short video a day, five to ten minutes, one clear step. An orientation video shows the whole map before you write a line.

Two hands holding the sun symbol on a chain, glowing in red light
  1. I

Get honest about where you are

Clear the noise, reconnect with a buried dream, write your first lyric.

  2. II

Know what only you can say

Use your own story, your Truth Frequency, and turn it into lyrics.

  3. III

    Say it without shame

Lyric flow, structure and a clear message. The first form of a song.

  4. IV

    Bring it to life musically

Melody, repetition, contrast, rhythm and space. A full draft.

  5. V

    Record it and collaborate

Home recording, musicians and producers, first performances.

  6. VI

Release it and build your team

Rights, a release plan, radio, and a community that supports you.

  7. VII

    Zoom out

Tools for the subconscious and for overthinking, and balance as you go on.

In their words · Write Your Fire groups

I thought I wasn’t good at writing melodies. I just hadn’t found a way that works for me. Now things are just pouring out of me.

MelissaWrite Your Fire mentorship

I have something that I didn’t have before: the confidence to write lyrics and actually read them and sing them.

AgnesWrite Your Fire mentorship

You brought me really back to this membrane where creativity is coming out. Here, it was really about music.

BeniWrite Your Fire mentorship

A safe space where you can share what you have written and get professional feedback. I really enjoy every single night that we share.

Ike has a nice program that gets people to feel comfortable and to be able to open up, at whichever level they are. We ended up writing a couple of songs as part of the course.

The only negative thing about this course is that it’s too short.

Your teacher

Ikevald Rannap

A fourth-generation musician who was told at five not to follow this path because it was too hard. Twenty years later he had won a BBC Radio songwriting competition, signed with DWB Music and heard “Never Surrender” released in Japan, and still felt something was missing. Four years of studying creativity from the inside became Write Your Fire.

  • 1,000+ shows, 700+ songs written alone and with others

Questions

Before you start

How do Write Your Fire and Zero to Song fit together?

Write Your Fire is the programme and the method. Zero to Song is its self-paced part. The mentorship group and one-to-one sessions are the guided parts.

I’ve never written a song. Is this for me?

Yes. Zero to Song is laid out step by step for complete beginners.

How fast will I see results?

Most people feel more connected to what they want to say from the first sessions. It works fastest for people who start now rather than next week.

How does the €47 credit work?

Complete the assignments across all seven weeks and your €47 becomes credit toward any other course I offer.

What if it isn’t for me?

You have 15 days. If nothing moves for you, email and you get a full refund.
